![]() How to access SupportThe best way to access our support is to call our telephone number 01642 654555 and discuss your needs. If, unfortunately, no one can take your call you can leave a message and we will phone you back. Alternately, you can email us on admin@tvct.org.uk giving us a contact number or address and we will contact you shortly.Whilst we will endeavour to meet your needs, we would reiterate our Adult Service is primarily for who have a chronic or long term illness, a disability or who have a caring role. We recognise that clients often present a wide range of issues that stem from these factors which have led to a loss of well being and emotional difficulties. If you are unsure if your condition applies, please ring and discuss. If we think our service is not suitable for your needs we will signpost you to an appropriate organisation who may be able to help. |
After You have contacted us
Once the referral is made, we will write to you and supply an information leaflet, a referral contract and a self addressed envelope. We ask you to complete the referral contract and return it so we can allocate you a counsellor. The counsellor will contact you to arrange an initial assessment interview to ensure the service we offer is appropriate for your needs.
If you are accepted, you will be offered a series of counselling sessions which are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure progress is being made. At an appropriate time mutually agreed by the client and counsellor, the counselling service will end enabling the client to move on with their life.
Waiting Time
We will endeavour to meet your counselling needs as quickly as we can. However, demand for support is high and allocations are made on a roll on roll off basis: in other words, we cannot start a new client till an existing one has finished. We therefore ask you to be patient, we will get to you as quickly as we can.
